The email you would received from our events team has outlined the Date, Requirements, Payment & event details. Terms & Conditions
OVERVIEW:
The Event Host & Organiser wishes to engage the services of the Performer for the purpose of Entertainment at UBQueer
(the Venue).
PERFORMER RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Performer will be required to perform spot number/s. Our Gig Invitation has been supplied with the required information about your gig. This would have been emailed to you.
The performer must make all reasonable efforts to submit required material such as promotional content, performance proposals, and backing tracks by the deadlines provided by the Event Host & Organiser.
During the performance and while at the Venue, the performer must conduct themselves appropriately and professionally. The performer must be respectful at all times of the Venue. Heavy intoxication or drunkenness during performances will not be tolerated. The Performer will have limited access to the backstage changing room. Performers are required to be on the floor at all times unless getting changed for their gig promoting themselves, the venue (UBQ) and encourage the hospitality of the patrons.
The Performer must make all reasonable efforts to arrive at the performance night on time and preform the set requirements outlined in the invitation.
PAYMENT
The performer will be paid for their performance. The Venue is responsible for paying this fee to the Performer. The event host & organiser will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the performer is paid in a timely manner. Invoice must be uploaded to this invite before the event. Payments will be made within two weeks from the gig/event. UBQ does not accept late fee's on invoices.
ALL invoice are required to be submitted before your event. We do not accept responsibilities for late invoice. If you are late with your invoice then its on you and not UBQ.
INJURIES AND INSURANCE
The performer is responsible for providing their own insurance. The event host & organiser and the Venue accept no liability for costs incurred by injuries during rehearsals or performances.
RELEASE
The performer agrees that the venue and the host/organiser have the right to use their image, voice, biographical information or any other information about them in photographs, videos, or any other media (the material) The venue and the host & organiser may use the material for the purpose of promotion of the event and the venue (UBQ)
The performer releases and indemnifies the Venue and the Event Host & Organiser from any loss, damage, cost, expense, or claim arising from the use of the Material including but not limited to action for defamation, breach of privacy, or copyright.
UBQ asks if all performers social media all advertising 3 days before their gig/s and also on the day of their gig/s. If the entertainer does not advertise, the entertainer will not be asked back.
